VSRN does not recommend ANY type of refractive surgery. We are here to help people harmed by vision correction surgery.

If, after reading this site and seeing all the problems people have, and knowing that there are no guarantees, you still feel lucky and have no fear, then go ahead. We'll still be here if you come back with problems, but there's no guarantee that we will be able to help you, either.
Matteo,

The findings you downloaded are unremarkable.

The vast majority of people who have refractive surgery are happy with their outcome. The people who request VSRN support are the unhappy people. If there is one thing the happy people and the unhappy people have in common is that they mostly ALL had normal eye examination findings prior to surgery. In that regard you are like everyone else. Refractive surgery is PLASTIC surgery and plastic surgery patients aren't always happy with their surgery.

If you would ask me again to reconsider the surgery, I would tell you no. Why would some of the ophthalmologist still wear glasses if they truly believe the technology? There are simply too many risks involved they have seen it all. Not to discourage you, but I've done LASIK myself. I enjoy the freedom without having to wear glasses and I am more attractive looking but sometimes the issues that come with it are quite annoying and costly. Also, it is only helpful in restoring nearsightedness, not astigmatism.
