Relex Smile Recovery

Hello,

I had my Relex Smile surgery done 13 days ago (left eye), the right eye was postponed and done 6 days ago due to suction loss first time. Strangely, my most recent eye is sharp and no issue, but the first one (from 13 days ago) I don't see well, lots of glare and double vision (ghosts), bad contrast vision, etc. I also think, these vision disturbances were not that bad on days 1-2, but came later. I can read e.g. subtitles (even though glaring), but the images are blurry. I am still taking my corticosteroid drops and artificial tears. Can somebody please advise if those effects will go away with time and how long it might take? I am slightly concerned when I compare to the other eye.

Thank you in advance.

It's impossible to say if the effects will go away because we don't know what the underlying problem is. If there is significant inflammation then yes, that should resolve. But if the problem is due to irregularities in the corneal optics, then you may not get much recovery. It's too early to know with any certainty.
