Sclerals are another type of CL. The important thing is that they are fitted correctly, regardless of the design. Sclerals can be very helpful for some RS problems.

p.s. Rosenthal designed the lens and started the Boston foundation for sight. I would believe he gets some royalty from the sale or promotion such as this free publicity.
