They along with clinics in Bellvue Washington closed their doors in November of this year. The letter they sent me claimed their malpractice insurance went up 1,100%. They blamed U.S. malpractice laws and the fact that in the U.S. we can get huge settlements.

I would be interested in hearing from others who went to this clinic.

Don't let Congress limit legal settlements that Republicans have been trying to do for the past few years.

I developed an epithelial ingrowth that they told me wasn't any big deal and I could leave it untreated. Two days ago I went to a different clinic. They rushed me into surgery to have these cells removed. Today I have learned that this so called "untrusive ingrowth" was actually destroying my cornea. They removed the cells with success but they do not know if I will have permanent damage to my cornea. I believe it was malpractice for the doctors both in Seattle and Canada not to urgently treat my eye condition. Th My current doctor does not want to get involved in any lawsuits and I probably won't file one if I fully recover. Still these clinic should be shut down. They are crappy doctors who are more interested in a quick buck than doing their jobs right.
