I had lasik done on 5/27/99. It was good for the first month but downhill ever since.

I kept going back to doctor complaining. All she wanted to do is give me eye drops. Iwas experiencing a lot of haze in my dominant right eye and varying eyesight. I was also having pain in my left eye. After 2 later visits, the doctor said there was nothing there. I went for another opinion and there was a calcium deposit. I want back to the doctor and guess what she found it. It was removed.

Before that i had a problem with dry eyes. never had this problem before even when i wore contacts. she said i had the problem when they first visited them but she never told me i had the problem. i went to my regular eye doctor and told me he as no record of me having dry eye, also saying if i did we would know it with my contacts. so they did another procedure closing eye ducts in my both eyes so i wouldn't have dry eyes. since i threaten a lawsuit against the doctor and my dominating eye not dominating. my other eye which is my reading eye is now my donianating eye. which is clear at all times. so since my threat with the lawsuit she said they will go back and laser either one eye or both but will not use lasik laser. she said a new laser which just got fda approval which she is due to recieve in may would be the one she would like to use because with the problem i have it would be better. i am not a great letter writer but i tell you this if i knew going in what some of the problems were going to be i would not have had this done. also when i was there they explained only the good things so when i asked for the negatives the answer was i am a great candiate there should be no problems. during my last visit the doctor said to me anyone over 40 can have problems something i wished she said before i had this done since i am 50. also seems i never get a straight answer and every visit answers always vary.
