Ever notice that if you want to take a common medication such as birth control pills you get a looooooonnnnnggg list of every possible side effect that could happen, no matter how rare, including death? Not contrast your LASIK experience, where you likely were not even informed at all about the more commonn side effects such as loss of contrast senstitivity, dry eye, induced astigmatism and induced higher order aberrations. Well, Federal trade commission regulations stipulate that if you advertise a drug or medical procedure you must also supply the list of possible complications and side effects. Any time you find a LASIK ad that doesn't do this, you can turn them in. Broken Eyes has kindly provided a contact number!
