Which eye drop compound is more effective for pupil constricting; Pilocarpine 1% or Alphagan P 1.5%.
Post bilateral RK surgery 13 years. Post cateract surgery, IOL OD 5 months.

Pilocarpine actively constricts the pupil while Alphagan retards the pupil's natural dilation in dark light. Alphagan is weaker but safer so try it first.

Some patients benefit from pilocarpine diluted to 1/8% concentration; eight times stronger hardly seems necessary to relieve GASH.
