I would ask your surgeon. There is probably no reason why you can't go to work the next day but he may want you to take the day off.

well- I had the tear duct procedure done. There was some bleeding from the duct in my right eye and he needed to cauterize it..I could actually see the "smoke" from the cauterization. My right eye feels much worse than the left today.
Also, both lower ducts had NO openings.
I'm using fml drops 3x a day for a couple of weeks and I'm praying that I don't get any infection. Would using Lotemax be better? IS it stronger than FML drops? Thank you.

FML drops are stronger than Lotemax and I would suggest you use the stronger drops to lessen the inflammation caused by the surgery. The odds of an infection are very low.
