As you will notice, the bulletin board has been reformatted. We've condensed some of the [too] many forums, and added a few things.

What's new?

Eye-openers
These forums are free to read
o Personal Post-op Stories are now located in this section
o We've added a new forum for case studies we'll be collecting
o The various research and FDA/FTC forums are now all included in the Medical Literature Archive in this section
o For casual visitors still considering surgery, even after reading all the other information available we've added a "Still Considering Surgery? forum for asking pre-op questions. This forum requires registration to post, however all content in this section is moderated and will not appear live until it has passed through the moderation queue.

Discussion forums
These forums require a paid subscription for access.
o We've condensed Complications, Dry Eyes and Pain into one topic
o The Contact Lens, Additional Surgery and Find a Doctor After Initial Surgery are now condensed into the Rehab Options forum.
o A new Patient Support forum includes the Living with Complications, Support Groups, Disability and life quality issues topics.

Ask the Doctors
These forums require a paid subscription for access.
o The Complications and Dry Eyes and Pain forums have been condensed into one topic, mirroring the discussion forums
o Also mirroring the discussion forums, the Rehab Options forum is the place to ask a doctor about contact lenses, as well as surgical retreatment options.

We hope this will eventually be less confusing for our users.
